My fiance and I are getting married this summer and going to Hawaii! When are you getting married? When is the honeymoon?

My fiance and I have been there (Honolulu) before, so here are a few tips:
1. Buy an Entertainment Book for Hawaii. I think they’re on sale now. Definitely worth the cost, as you’ll be doing most of the tourist stuff and eating at almost all the restaurants. You’ll save your money and more.

2. Go to the Polynesian Cultural center. Make a day of it, if you’re into the whole cultural stuff. The evening show is quite good, and the rest of the day can be interesting/informative. Unless you’re not into that whole side of things, in which case, don’t.

3. Go to the “Shorebird” for breakfast/brunch. There’s a coupon or two for buy one get one 50% off. So for two of you, all you can eat breakfast is like $20, and for my fiance and I, that means brunch lasts until dinner. Excellent food, beautiful location.

4. Only rent a car for a day or two on Oahu. The rest of the time, “The Bus” should suffice, or just walk and help shed some of those pounds! IF you do rent a car, you can drive the island in a few hours – and its worth doing.

5. Go snorkeling at Haunama Bay. Best ever.

Cuba is one of the few places I would go to in the Caribbean. Unfortunately because my fiance is a teacher we are only able to travel during the busiest of times (Christmas, march break, summer) which makes going there a little undesirable. I would love to go to Cuba in like May.

I got married last Sept and we went to Cuba for our honeymoon.

Never been to Hawaii but, from what I’ve heard from friends, I’m sure you’ll love it!
